Companion Planting

Looking to garden naturally? For centuries, farmers and gardeners have practiced companion planting, the art of mingling vegetables, herbs and flowers to attract beneficial insects, repel pests, and enrich nutrients. We’ve partnered with Sustainability Matters, a new local environmental collaborative, for this workshop on managing your garden without toxic chemicals. Sustainability Matters’ Sari Carp will provide practical strategies for using plants to protect and enhance each other. There’ll also be time for Q&A with Sari and Sustainability Matters’ organic specialist, Lora Steiner, on solutions for you own garden dilemmas.

$5/FREE for owners. Register in-store or online here.
