Saturday, November 6:  Crunchy Hydration sampling their beverage from 10am-12pm in the lobby

 

 

Thanksgiving Turkey Pre-Orders

It’s almost turkey time! And that means it’s time to pre-order your bird to reserve the turkey you want for your Thanksgiving table. We are accepting turkey pre-orders from November 1st through November 15th this year. We have local turkeys from J&L Green Farm and Polyface Farms.  We also have turkeys from Organic Prairie (Organic and Free Range) and from Ferndale (Antibiotic Free and Free Range).
Please note all turkeys are frozen, so allow time for thawing.
You can find out more details using the pre-order form found here and choose any method that works for you to submit:

  1. Fill out the form and scan it, or take a photo and email it to turkey@friendlycity.coop
  2. You can email turkey@friendlycity.coop with all the information requested on the form- just give us the type of turkey (farm), weight of the turkey, and your desired pickup date along with your preferred method of contact- either phone and/or email address
  3. You can print the form, fill it out, and bring it into the to the store
  4. You can call the store at 540-801-8882 with the information requested

Round Up at the Register

Every time you check out between October 18th and October 30th, you’ll have a chance to Round Up at the Register for Open Doors.

The mission of Open Doors is to engage the community of Harrisonburg and Rockingham County in partnership to provide shelter, compassionate support and access to services for people who are homeless.

 Your donation will help ensure that Open Doors is able to implement programs that will help end the cycle of chronic homelessness. Thank you very much for your support!

Pumpkin Painting on the Patio

Join Kari on the patio Saturday, October 16, anytime between 11am and 3pm and have your child paint a pumpkin. After they are done, they can take it home!
