Pollinators in a Pot Class
Date: Saturday, June 8th

Limited on time and space? Join us for the third class in The Native Plant Series to learn about the marvels of native plants, their benefits, and how you can support Harrisonburg’s native ecosystem using as little as ONE pot. Participants will plant native plants in a 3 gallon pot to take home and will get the chance to win a free habitat pack! (Habitat Packs include 15 native perennial quarts that thrive in a particular condition like Dry Sun, Dry Shade, or Wet Sun. We take the guesswork out of picking plants for your yard!)

Audience: Those interested in gardening with native plants but have limited or no space to work with.

Topics Covered:
-About The Natural Garden
-The benefits of using native plants
-Container friendly species vs naturalizers
-What plants play well together
-Potting natives into gallons

Cost:$30/$25 for Owners

Class size will be limited so sign up soon. Your registration/payment secures your spot in the class. Register and pay on the events page of our website, in person at the co-op, or with your Co-Go online order. Owners receive a $5 discount, as always. We hope to see you there!
