Chris Bowlen, Master Naturalist and local vermicomposting expert will be here tabling and talking about how to set up and maintain a worm composting operation. Come out and learn if vermicomposting is right for you and your family!

Cassie from Kenkashi Microbes will be here tabling from 12:30-2:30. She will be talking about the Bokashi style of composting and demonstrating how to use Kenkashi Composting Kits. The Bokashi method is used for composting all organic food waste, including meat, dairy and fats. It was developed in Japan and used in Asia to ferment food prior to composting. We will have Kenkashi Kits for sale in-store while supplies last.
