Our Return Policy
At Friendly City Food Co-op, we want you to feel good about every purchase. If you have a problem with a product or simply aren’t satisfied with something you bought, please let us know. We’re happy to make it right.
Refunds:
We offer a full refund on any item purchased at Friendly City Food Co-op for any reason.
- With your receipt: We can refund your original payment method (cash or card).
- Without a receipt: We’ll gladly issue your refund as store credit in the form of a gift card or credit on an order
Just let one of our cashiers know what you purchased and approximately when you bought it. If the item was purchased on sale or during an Owner Appreciation Day, the refund will be issued at the purchase price.
You don’t have to bring the item back to receive a refund. We don’t need to see spoiled milk, cooked pasta, or other perishable products. Your word is enough. If you’d like, you’re welcome to bring a photo of the product, but it’s never required.
Exchanges:
You’re welcome to exchange an item for another product of the same value. If you choose an item with a higher price, you’ll simply pay the difference.
Glass Milk Bottle Deposits:
When you return clean, empty glass milk bottles to our cashiers, we’ll refund your bottle deposit or apply it toward the purchase of another glass bottle of milk.
