How Are You Celebrating the Season?
In the snow (!!!), stocked with plenty of snacks in my bags, catching sunrises with friends on cross country skis or running to overlooks for the vivid hues of dawn. There’s something about the bitter cold and dark of winter that I’ve found comforting in recent years. Perhaps it’s the bundling of layers, the extra quiet in the forest, the marvels of snow-covered textures, the opportunities for creative baked goods (spiced cookies! sourdough cinnamon roll focaccia! warming soups and drinks!) or the bond formed with a friend who will brave the elements with you. Once the temperatures dip, and when we get so fortunate to have a blanket of snow across the Valley, I’m finding any moment I can to play in it.

What is a Co-op Item You Can’t Live Without?
We recently became BIG fans of the liquid Miyoko’s cheese: it’s our pizza topping, mixing into pasta, swirled in scrambled eggs…we were so pleasantly surprised by how far the bottle of liquid cheese could take us into the week, as well as it’s impressive texture for faux-cheese (though, I do love real cheese too:))
