What Has Gone Before… 1850-Present

February 2 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

- Free

Join us for this free community event!

We’re excited to host a special presentation by Monica Robinson of the Shenandoah Valley Black Heritage Project (SVBHP), offering an in-depth look at the stories behind our café exhibit, What Has Gone Before… 1850–Present. This unique display highlights the history of the land our co-op occupies and its connections to broader Shenandoah Valley narratives. Enjoy snacks from Black-owned brands as we explore the powerful stories that shaped our community. Monica will also share insights from SVBHP’s Roots Run Deep tours, which explore significant historical sites across the Shenandoah Valley.

If you appreciate the impactful work of SVBHP, you can support them by rounding up your purchases at the register from February 2–8. Every contribution helps preserve and share the rich heritage of our region.
