Meet Board Member Lindsay Martin!

How are you celebrating the season?

I am in full anticipation of fall and cozy weather season – I love the cool mornings and changing leaves and also food-related goodies like local apple cider, squash soup, and lots of pumpkin baked goods.

Co-op item I can’t live without…

Ever since the Sunday brunch bar started, our family has made it a tradition to do our grocery shopping around noon on Sundays and bring home delicious brunch bar foods. The biscuits & gravy are amazing and we always look forward to seeing what other brunch items we’ll find.

What do you think makes the Co-op special/different?

It’s so much more than a grocery store! It’s a community hub and gathering place; you can meet up for lunch with a friend, attend First Friday art openings, take really cool classes and even “round up” your purchase to support local nonprofits. Also, the staff are genuinely helpful and friendly. I just love coming to the co-op, for whatever reason!
